About Forrest Advisory

Forrest Advisory is a small business-improvement practice in Newcastle upon Tyne. We work with a handful of clients at a time, stay involved while the changes are made, and bring in specialists where a job needs them.

Most of what a business needs is sitting in systems it’s already paying for. We start by asking what a business already knows and isn’t using, and then do something with the answer.

We don’t hand over a report and leave. We’re still there in three months, when the change is half done.

Max Forrest

Forrest Advisory is led by Max Forrest. He started on the front desk of a leisure business and now runs business improvement across its three sites and around sixty staff, a role he holds alongside this work - so the advice comes from someone running operations this year, not remembering them. He has also run a retail business of his own.

Conflicts and confidentiality

We don’t take work from businesses in close competition with each other, or with the business Max works for. Nothing specific to one client goes anywhere near another - that’s the whole reason owners tell us anything useful.
