Selected work
Four engagements, described without naming the client. Each one started with something the business already had and wasn’t using.
Margin nobody could see
A retailer knew what they sold and what they paid for it, but not what they made on any given line. We worked the margin out product by product. It showed which lines were barely worth stocking, and which prices hadn’t been looked at in years. A set of hunches about what sold well became something the owner could check.
An offer hiding in membership data
A membership business was sitting on years of spending data nobody had looked at properly. Broken down by how long people had been members, it showed an offer the business should have been making and wasn’t.
A day-to-day that ran on one person
A busy, people-heavy site where too much of the daily running lived in one head. We wrote it down, cut what didn’t need doing, and handed the rest out a piece at a time. The place could run without him. He took a holiday.
There’s a note on this: Could you take a month off?
Reporting that arrived after the month
Month-end figures turned up weeks after the month had ended, out of a process nobody had written down. We rebuilt how they were put together. The same numbers now land within days.
Why clients aren’t named
Owners tell us more because it stays between us. If you’d rather hear about the work from one of them, ask and we’ll make an introduction.
If one of these sounds like your business, it’s worth a conversation.
